From the Emperors of China to the Zen-Buddhist monks in Japan, the Orient has been enjoying the health benefits of tea for thousands of years. Amid the highlands of Ceylon, Bija harvests organic leaves from the sacred Camellia sinensis plant and then ferments them into pure, aromatic black tea.
Bija teas are made from the finest herbs and spices in the world. To ensure the protection and stability of the herbs and volatile oils, they are sealed in a special shielded overwrap, thus providing the utmost care for the highest quality of ingredients that nature has to offer.
For an Inspired Cup of Tea
Bring fresh, cold water to a boil. Pour over a bag of Bija Imperial Black tea and steep 2-3 minutes to desired strength. Squeeze bag gently and remove. Hot or iced, this is a sublime thirst-quencher.

iHerb Customer Reviews
after I tried it, I threw the other teas. It has the real taste of tea and the aroma.
This tea has a balanced flavor and makes a great morning tea. Knowing it is grown organically makes it all that more appealing. My husband who has always said, "tea is tea", recently said, "this is Good tea".
