Soluble fiber from foods such as psyllium seed husks, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease. A serving of Whole Psyllium Husks supplies 6 grams of the 7 grams soluble fiber necessary per day to have this effect.
Vigorously mix 1-2 level tablespoons daily into at least 12 oz of water or juice and consume immediately. Be sure to drink plenty of additional fluids throughout the day. Start with smaller amounts and gradually increase over several weeks.

The product is effective and balanced my upset stomach nicely when in regular use. I should come up with a better way to ingest this since mixing it with water and drinking it just make me sick. The smell, taste and texture is not nice.
It gives great texture to GF bread, you won't miss gluten at all. Just a tablespoon of it per pound of GF flour will transform your GF bread into springy goodness.
Super help for your intestine

I was suffering from problems with my intestine and have tried out lots of different methods: I added wheat bran to my food, but it caused bloating, eating more apples or veggies caused the same, seaweeds made me sick and I had an upset stomach...When I first tried psillium husk I was not expecting it to work, BUT IT DID!! It's been 3-4 month now, that I'm using it - in the beginning I took it before bed - 2 teaspoons dissolved in water or yoghurt. Now my intestine is in such good shape, that I use it from time to time, when I feel "heavy". It really works and l haven't discovered any side-effects for me. Def will order again.

I enjoy this product. If you've never used psyllium husk, please bear in mind that it thickens up anything you put it into and will do so rapidly. This means if you're adding it to a protein shake, for example, you cannot make the shake in advance and drink it after your workout. It also means you can use it in place of another binder in cooking. I've used psyllium husk to help bind oil-free pancakes, for example. They work really well with a mashed banana and this product to make a type of pancake. I have also added it to chocolate tea to make a hot cereal.

Fluid starts thickening when water touches it. I don't recommend this product at all
