I take it sublingual. Alcohol tinctures last much longer. I buy immune support tinctures or other non daily tinctures in alcohol forms for that reason. but I take saint john's wort everyday at least once or sometimes up to 3 times a day and don't want to bother diluting it with water in a glass. I go through a bottle pretty quick.
This glycerine fomular works great just squeezing dropperful drectily in mouth.
As for the efficacy, it works on and off i think. I don't take it 365 days. Just when I need a little support. I was massively stressed a few months ago which led to depression and this helped. It is not exact science but it took me about 2 weeks, i would say, to feel better. I felt quite good afterwards. upbeat. Then I sort a trailed off taking them.
Recently picked it up again, but don't feel any different this time. Perhaps because I take it now more for precautionary purpose. I am taking some time off from the usual excersizes due to injury. Thought taking this might keep me upbeat but didn't work that way. Or maybe i built tolerance?
Nevertheless, I've experienced result last time and I'm a believer. Wish Iherb carried 4oz bottle as Amazon does. 1oz bottle gone too quickly. I've written to iherb but not yet happened.
