Expiration Date:Expiration Date
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

Since 1984, Kashi has cared about making foods with the health of people and planet in mind. We’ve stayed true to our seven whole grain roots and remain passionate about providing a progressive and holistic approach to nutrition.
Now we’re taking our mission a step further. Today, only 1% of U.S. cropland is organic and around 70% of packed foods contain GMOs (genetically modified organisms). At Kashi, we want to do our part in creating a more balanced food system. We’re still small at heart, but big enough now to make a meaningful impact.
Our commitment: By the end of 2015 over half our food will be Non-GMO Project Verified*.
But we won’t stop there. We’ll continue to increase the use of organic and non-GMO ingredients where possible while making sure to continue to provide the positive nutrition you expect from us.
Why 2015? There simply aren’t enough non-GMO and organic ingredients, and it takes time to partner with farmers to convert conventional farms. Once we obtain these ingredients, we need to make sure the nutrition and taste of the food are consistent with the high quality you expect from us.

Well.. got this awhile back .. and it is perfect for weight loss because it's so low in calorie compared to the amount you get however it's a bit tasteless? Or id rather say it has an earthy taste which you might need to add in some sweetners as to mask that taste

some grain not "puffed"

Some of the wheat wasn't puffed right and the grains could break your teeth while chewing if not careful. Usually i get the honey puffs and never had a problem. This time i just got the regular puffs and am quite disappointed. I thought Kashi had better quality control.
Best breakfast cereal - not sugared to death!

So many people are used to hyper-processed, sickeningly sweet breakfast cereals that they don't know what to make of this. Being semi-puffed it holds up well and has a nice crunch. With vanilla rice milk and sliced bananas, it's the best.
