I am not the first time henna user, so I was really surprised how bright the colour was on my dark brown hair. Red wine hue, which was beautiful btw, washed away after about 3 washes (wash 3-4 times a week). The thing is, for all the 4 weeks after I used this, the rinsing water after shampooing was bright-bright orange (think of Jolly Rancher hard candy color) and the only time when I experienced that with henna is was when I used Surya Henna Cream that had chemical color additives to that. I cannot be 100% sure that the same applies to this one, but truly made me suspicious, especially when in their ingredient list there is only natural ingredient listed, but the product acts like a permanent chemical hair die. A couple days ago I used henna from some other brand, and the result is as one when I use real henna: colour is not as vibrant (my hair is dark, so it just gives the tint), and the rinsing water is not that bright orange. Also, just to mention, as soon as your hair get wet when using this product: showering, swimming, rain, get ready - it will leak and drops will stain clothes and whatever wet hair touches, so is my towel stained. Another thing to mention, when my roots grew out, I could see a SHARP line between the roots and where this henna was applied. Exactly like when you would use a permanent chemical hair die. Normally, when roots are growing out with other henna products I use, colour washes away gradually and new roots kinda blend out, so there is no sharp line. I will not repurchase. I think they added smth else in it and did not disclose it, I would like chemical analysis to be done in independent lab. Just my opinion.
