Rewarded Review

It's very hard to find Non-Chinese, Non-GMO supplements anymore. Most companies do not even try to disclose the location of the source material or will try and trick you with Made in the USA or Assembled in the USA or something similarly deceptive. This Xylitol is derived from Birch/Beech trees and is made for Source Naturals (Says so right on the packaging). Most Xylitol is derived from GMO Corn and comes out of China... this is not to say that Chinese Supplements can not be good... but how can we really know. In light of past problems surfacing with Chinese imported supplements I try to avoid them (It's not really possible though... for example Doctors Best makes pretty good supplements and they were sold to a Chinese Company. I'm against supporting Communism in General... so I try to buy USA sourced products. Anyhow, I like the taste. I do not really eat the stuff... but I use it in Nasal Rinse and as a Dental Rinse. If you have the time do a big of research about Finland and how Xylitol has cut the rate of tooth decay in kids. They have been using it for decades. Also TEST your tolerance if you are going to ingest it as a sugar substitute because it can cause distress if taken in larger amounts. I use about 5 grams tops and very little actually gets into my digestive system. You can dig a bit deeper as to what happens then... the bacteria in your digestive tract create Short Chain Fatty Acids... which can actually be a good thing. In all my research I have not found much in the way of negative findings... except for some digestive distress in those who are susceptible. It does (to me) taste just like sugar.
