We are a gluten free household and whenever we have a craving for pasta, we really love this Organic Red Lentil Pasta from Explore Cuisine. My husband was not initially convinced that he would enjoy a lentil pasta but he was easily won over by this one. The flavor is of course mildly lentil but when cooked properly, this results in a really satisfying noodle that pairs so beautiful with a little organic olive oil and fresh basil + any vegetable for a wonderful Organic Gluten free Vegan Protein meal. The green lentil lasagne noodles are another household favorite. This is definitely the best protein/plant based noodle we have tried.

I fixed it with sausage and mushrooms and an olive oil and garlic sauce and it was absolutely delicious. I'm ordering a box for each of my daughters and I'm ordering another 3 boxes for myself to keep on the shelf. Pasta without the gluten. Holds together perfectly in the water. Doesn't fall apart. Cook to al dente perfection. I doubt if anybody knew that this wasn't made from semolina flour they would be able to tell. Pasta with all the taste, all the bite to the teeth, and all the look of regular semolina pasta . Five stars!!! In fact, I'd give it six stars if I could.

This is wonderful pasta and does not give you that "Pasta Coma" after eating. Very LOW glycemic index due to being made from veggies. Tastes great. Does take a bit more time to cook to tender but worth it. Will be buying more of this in the future.
