Potent oil, yet medicinal in fragrance
Posted by Reviewer2989536 on Dec 02, 2010
Yep, this is a strong oil. It smells more like medicine than a flower. But I have used it for home remedies to great success. I wouldn't put this in a fragrance. Bulgarian lavender is better in perfumes.
good oil, smells very medicinal

This oil is a great deal, especially for an organic, and seems to work just fine as an essential oil. The only issue is the smell - it tends on the soapy, medicinal side rather than smelling like a nice floral or woody lavender which I prefer. I have purchased many different lavender oils in the past so I know it varies a lot, but this one does smell more medicinal than any I have used before.

AS others have said, it smells a little like the Tea Tree, but it seems OK
so far so good

I didn't expect the lavender oil's effects which are like help sleeping, curing scars, calming mind and so far. I've used it for homemade skin moisturizer. No troubles at all so far~
Value for money

A friend of mine recommended Lavender Oil as a solution to soothe itchy skin caused by mosquitoes. I did a skin test and amazingly it really did! But!!! it dried up the treated skin area!!! Perhaps this is meant for burner usage only. Nevertheless, beautiful scent.
