To open, simply press on the optional locking bar, if used.
While pushing the locking bar in, lift up on the cover.
Place the tablet into the "V" shaped holder.
Close the cover to split the tablet.
Repeat the opening process and remove the tablet halves.
Close the cover and store in the closed position.

To convert the Tablet Cutter to locking mode: Open the lid of the tablet cutter. Insert the locking bar (A) into the hole on the front side of the cutter with the tab of the locking bar pointing back towards the hinge. Press until it snaps into place (B). Close the lid to lock the cutter. To remove it again, simply open the cutter, grasp the tab and pull out firmly.

Care: Wash prior to first use with mild, soapy water. Rinse and let dry before using. Repeat as needed to remove pill residue from the cutter.
