I make this tea in batch, 1 liter and store in fridge, i take 1 cup per day only. Helps me whenever a flu comes in or cough/colds, I get better after 2 days. Marshmallow leaf and root are used for pain and swelling (inflammation) of the mucous membranes that line the respiratory tract. I gave this to a friend who was diagnosed with a Barrett’s Esophagus. Your website stated that it should not be made into a hot tea, it needs to soak in lukewarm water, preferably overnight. This was news to both of us. Your price was excellent, much better than what she was paying at her local health shop.
it's just a savior when is come to my acid reflux. I make a strong tea of it and steep it overnight. It taste slimy but very mild. I like the quality , the package's size is nice and big. I will be buying it again. I will recommend it as well.
I have used Frontier Herbs for decades and find the quality reliable. I use marshmallow root for acid reflux and leaky gut. I make up a quart jar of water and 1/4 cup of marshmallow root and keep in the refrigerator to add to our daily smoothies. I strain it before adding 2 Tablespoons to each glass. I refill the glass jar for a week before I begin a new jar.
Excellent quality. I drink cold brewed tea for digestion & breathing. Helps with all mucus membranes. Any digestive disease will benefit from marshmallow root. Especially if paired with peppermint tea. Knocks out mucus & viruses in the digestive tract. That combo will resolve a diverticulitis flare up within a few days. Excellent quality, fresh herbs, like usual with Frontier Co-Op. I buy a lot of their products, and have never been dissatisfied. The package contains a LOT of marshmallow root. Just by itself as a tea, it has a bit of strange taste I don't really love, but that's a personal preference. But I just need to do more research and find more ways to use it. So fresh quality ingredients, good price for the size, I recommend it.
This marshmallow root is great added to other herbs to make a throat-soothing tea. I found it decreased my seasonal allergy symptoms. You can buy the pills for marshmallow root, which I used a lot before, but it's great to take it in tea instead. It thickens the tea water slightly to juice-like consistency, which I like. It's a big package, so this will last you a while.

Incredible quality marshmallow root, tastes lovely and so soothing. The package size is substantial and lasts a lost time. Use for a great daily frequency tonic tea and works well in blends to counteract more drying herbs. My favourite demulcent herb, a must have in every apothecary.
