Rewarded Review

I've never dyed my hair myself except for easy black and red "moneypieces" in high school (oh yeah). As such, I had no idea of the world of toners, developers, ashes, 5Cs, 8Ns, etc. etc. I just wrongly saw this and thought it was the color I wanted to use to try to blend my white streak. So, that's not how it works. This color, "light ash chestnut," which looks like a very muted, super dark blonde on the box, turned out a hot red-orange, so my white streak, which largely remained intact, was shoddily interspersed with red, the exact and precise color of a weathered fence with rusty nails in it- dark brown here, silver white there, red streaks. I had to go to a professional to get it fixed and shell out the big bucks. But, that professional said this stuff was going to wash out really fast and was not direly ruining things, but was just mainly really ineffective. Later youtubing also suggested it turned out red orange because I started painting up near the roots. But, my hair is not fried in any way, it didn't damage it at all- so, if I knew all about how to mix and layer and what all the numbers and letters mean, I think it could be a good product. That information is in no way included with the product, or even on their website, so you have to already be at an expert level before going in. Also, the stuff you need isn't included in the box, with fine print saying that's sold separately. Good thing I happened to have an unused high quality fan brush for art. Anyway, don't try at home unless you went to hairstyling school...
