Protects bones & immune system. Always a good price from Iherb. Since the pandemic I take 2 capsules a day. These capsules contain 2500 IU per capsule. The dose will vary depending on your individual needs. Other ingredients: Extra virgin olive oil. soft gel consists of bovine gelatin (BSE-free), glycerin and purified water.
Quality is great. I was taking these during winter time, due to lack of sun. I can see my skin looked definitely better and less itchy. I was feeling better and with more energy. I took recommendation from my physician to take vitamin D and I chose these. I think it's great for the immune system as well.
The softgels are small and very easy to swallow. I stopped taking Vitamin d in the summer as a result have a little deficiency. Seems I have to take it all the time. Taking two a day now with K2. I trust Jarrow Formulas and the price was good as well.
This is high quality vitamin D - most companies use cheap oils that are high in omega 6 but Jarrow usually uses olive oil or coconut oil so even though they're more expensive I tend to prefer them over other brands. Great to have on hand, especially in winter when I have less sun exposure.
